PRP® Spring Kit for Springfield® Echelon™

I didn’t know the trigger can feel this good. The install wasn’t the easiest but I’d say it was totally doable and I definitely feel much more confident on working with this COG system after this process. The trigger went from 4-4.5lbs to 3.5lbs. With the stock trigger shoes it has a nice smooth take up and clean break. The reset is noticeably stronger and that’s a huge plus for me. This spring kit is a definite recommendation if you’re looking for a sub 4lb trigger and stronger reset.

I installed the Powder River sear and spring kit in the Echelon today. I'm happy with the results. The stock sear and safety sear springs seemed stiffer than necessary after polishing the related components. And I had no light primer strikes at the range. What the sear did was reduce the travel between the wall and break. They do this with different sear geometry. Originally you'd reach the wall, then creep a little before the break. Now you reach the wall, and it breaks right after that without creep. It's lightened the trigger a bit as well.

This spring kit is an awesome upgrade. Fixes the amount of travel to the wall. Bringing the trigger break to just about 4.5 lbs. Which is 1 - 1.5 lbs difference.

Another Excellent PRP spring kit! Installation is actually easier than it looks - watch the video a few times! Super happy with the reduction in the trigger pull!

Install video could use some diagrams fingers and thumbs get in the way.

It does lessen the trigger pull by just over 1 pound. Does shorten travel as well, it’s worth the money.

Installed 2 in Echelon 4.5 and 4.0c. Both worked to perfection. Followed the video step by step with no problems. Quality Kit Highly Recommended!
