Slide milling for red dot optic mounting plate. Available on all XD models 3", 4", 5" and the 3.8"/4.5" XDM/XDM Elite models only. Includes one mounting plate and one coverplate with 3 screws for mounting the plate to the slide. Mounting plates and coverplates are compatible with factory OSP slides. Price includes refinishing the slide. Not available for XDM 5.25" models.
Many sights share the same mounting footprint. Optic mounting screws are NOT included as they vary by make and model. Below is a quick reference guide to our mounting plates and the footprints they fit.

- Plate #2 for XD/XDM (Leupold DeltaPoint, JPoint, Shield, HEX Wasp) threaded 4mm x .7mm

Exquisite service
This is something I had been putting off for far too long, and I haven’t been able to find any other company that would cut an XDm slide for an optic, at least not without removing the rear dovetail. Cut was 100% clean and indistinguishable from my factory cut XDm, compete with a parkerized cover plate that looks just like a factory plate. Mounting screws were high quality, and I received the finished product in just about 12 days from the day I handed my package to the mailman.

XD Slide Milling
I sent my 5 inch XD Tactical slide into PRP to have it milled for a red dot sight. I had questions to ask on how this process would work and the communication was excellent. The quality on the mill work was also top notch and the turn around time to send it back to me was super quick. I also have to say that when PRP was working on my slide, I called into the office to order another optic plate and spring set to see if that could be sent back with the milled slide to save on shipping. "No problem. We do that all the time" they told me. I have the PRP aluminum trigger, spring set and many other parts in my XD now. It's an amazing transformation on how my gun shoots now. PRP is a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Absolute professionals at PRP during this entire process! I had my slide re-blued and milled for a Holosun optic and had the factory sights removed and upgraded while it was in. XD Slide Milling
Quality of the work is excellent. One of the holes was not quite deep enough for the screws that came with my optic, but with there being 3 companies involved, plus PRP doing third party custom work, I'm not surprised - just be ready for it!

Slide Mill for an optics mount
PRP did an excellent job with my slide mill. I had the #4 installed for my Holosun. Beautiful work, and when I wanted to replace my holosun, they were able to quickly and easily explain what needed to be done with the out of the box HS screw length being a bit too long. They were able to help me get my XD going and now I have a slick optics and sights.

AD-XDM Slide Milling
Great communications regarding questions and every step of the process. Milling was excellent on 3 XDM pistols for Acro Aimpoint optics. The plates, hardware and irons sights mounting was excellent. Highly recommended.
