Slide milling for red dot optic mounting plate. Available on all XD models 3", 4", 5" and the 3.8"/4.5" XDM/XDM Elite models only. Includes one mounting plate and one coverplate with 3 screws for mounting the plate to the slide. Mounting plates and coverplates are compatible with factory OSP slides. Price includes refinishing the slide. Not available for XDM 5.25" models.

Many sights share the same mounting footprint. Optic mounting screws are NOT included as they vary by make and model. Below is a quick reference guide to our mounting plates and the footprints they fit.

XD 45 Slide Milling

Sent my slide and optic into be milled and mounted. I also asked for thier recommendation for co-wittness iron sights. I received my slide back with optic and new iron sights mounted. They did an excellent job and quick turn around.

I had my XD 9mm Tactical slide milled because I can't get the XD-M in California. Powder River Precision did an excellent job! Nothing to complain about with a fast turn around time. Would highly recommend Powder River Precision if you are considering having your slide milled for a red dot. If you mount a Holosun 507K on the slide you will have to cut down your screws because the supplied screws from Holosun are to long.

If you have a customized or special "old school" XD-XDM, this milling service brings the slide to the current state of the art for optics use. The price includes slide cover, optics plate of choice, and cut finish. Others may provide milling service for less but PRP provides the complete solution at a very reasonable price. PRP craftmanship and service are stellar. Highly recommend!
