This PRP® Solid Stainless Steel Guide Rod replaces the hollow factory guide rods and adds weight to the muzzle of the pistol to help with felt recoil. It also gives your pistol that finished custom look. The solid guide rod will work with the factory springs or after market springs specific to the model of your pistol.
Available for original XDM 4.5″ & 5.25″ all calibers & XD Mod.2 5″ Tactical 9mm and for original XD 5″ Tactical models in 9mm & .40 cal or .45 cal.
Please note: all XD, XD Mod.2 & XDM pistols with less than a 4.5″ barrel and all XDM Elite models have a captured guide rod and recoil spring system and are unable to accept this one piece guide rod.**

Nice product!
These guide rods are of high quality and are a good improvement over the factory rods. They change the balance of the pistol in a good way that supports better recoil control. I always recommend these to Springfield shooters.
