This PRP Extreme Trigger Kit fits all original XDM® Pistols Only.
Like our other trigger kits, the PRP XDM Extreme Trigger Kit will shorten the trigger take up, reset and over travel. The difference with this kit is that we have drastically lightened the sear and striker safety lever. We have also changed the geometry of the sear. To help speed up the reset, our trigger is made of tough light weight polymer and now available in aluminum anodized black or silver.
So, what does all this mean for your trigger? It means, it will give you the lightest trigger pull of any XDM trigger kit on the market. Depending on what springs from the kit are installed, the trigger pull can be as low as 2.5lbs. This kit can be installed with different weight springs to vary the weight of the trigger pull. We also give you the option to choose between triggers. The pre-fit trigger has the over travel stop pre-fit. The over-sized trigger must be fitted for over travel.
Not compatible with the new XDM Elite series.

Without question Daniel Batchelor makes THE best trigger group for an XDm and IMO the best trigger for ANY striker fired pistol!

PRP Extreme Trigger Kit for XDM (Original)
I bought this PRP extreme trigger kit for my original gen XDM-40 3.8" full-size grip pistol because I was looking for both a better, smoother trigger pull and reset, as well as I admittedly wanted my trigger in a nice silver color as I'd been selectively sanding various parts of the gun to also have a nice aluminum-silver color for a dual-tone scheme, and this kit checked all three of those boxes. I found a video on YouTube showing how to install it, but I wanted to make sure it was done right and safely so I took it to my local range's gunsmith to have it professionally installed and he said it ended up being one of the best results of a conversion like this that he's achieved. Even the clerk who test-fired it said it's one of the nicest triggers he's experienced on a pistol after being converted, and I have to agree. The pull is very light now and there's almost no reset at all. This of course can make it more dangerous to operate the firearm if you aren't experienced with such a light trigger so please keep that in mind before deciding to buy and install one of these kits, but if you're safe and responsible then I definitely recommend it!
