PRP® Enhanced Bolt for 10/22® style rifles. This bolt is designed as an OEM bolt for our Rubicon® .22lr receiver. We are offering it as an upgrade for other rifles available on the market. It is CNC machined out of 416 SS and through hardened. The sides are precision surface ground. The firing pin is cylindrical and is precision machined not to protrude past the breach-face, protecting your barrel from firing pin dings. Head space is properly set. Our PRP® enhanced bolt comes complete with extractor, extractor spring and plunger, firing pin, firing pin rebound spring and firing pin retaining pin.

Wow! Woke my Ruger 22 Charger up!
Like all the Ruger 10/22 products the OEM Bolt has a propensity to stovepipe, and fail to fully eject when running various brands and weights of 22 cartridges. This PRP bolt solves that for me, and made my range only 22 Charger into an effective varmint shooter. I am using this bolt in conjunction with the PRP trigger assembly, and that combination changed the entire personality of the 22 Charger. A combination of no sloppy bolt, extraction issues, stovepiping, and an absolutely slick trigger system made this little gun a dream to shoot, and hold on varmints out to 100 yards without pulling it to one side from a too stiff and sloppy OEM trigger assembly. I am so impressed that after the holidays, I will be ordering the bolt, buffer, and trigger package for my stainless Rugger 10/22 rifle.
